Miriam Bryant

Mattiasson’s founder Daniel Mattiasson has enjoyed a longstanding creative partnership with acclaimed artist Miriam Bryant. Since their first collaboration in 2019 on the music video “Neråt/Uppåt,” they’ve created numerous impactful projects together—including music videos, an album cover, and the award-winning short film launching her celebrated album PS Jag hatar dig.

Their collaborative videos—such as “Passa dig,” featuring a diverse cast including Daniel’s own 90-year-old grandmother Margit—captured audiences emotionally and visually. Margit sadly passed away shortly after filming, yet continues to dance on screen, making the project uniquely meaningful.

Daniel and Miriam co-wrote a short film incorporating all tracks from the album into a cohesive visual narrative. This ambitious idea evolved from a music video into a nationwide cinema event, premiered at Filmstaden’s Rigoletto Theatre in Stockholm. Miriam described it as “a dream come true.”

The film’s success significantly contributed to the album’s acclaim, helping Miriam secure a Grammis and a P3 Guld award for Best Album—highlighting the power of strategic storytelling and artistic collaboration.
